If you’re a fan of The World of Dinosaur Roar! or just love dinosaurs, we have great news for you!

We are delighted to have launched The World of Dinosaur Roar! Discovery Trail right here at Manor Farm Park & Woodlands. Our exciting new trail features life-size dinosaur models in a natural woodland setting, bringing to life the delightful series of The World of Dinosaur Roar! children’s books and characters created by Peter Curtis, based on Dinosaur Roar! by Paul Stickland and Henrietta Stickland and produced in association with the Natural History Museum in London.

Along the trail, you’ll be able to meet Dinosaur ROAR the Tyrannosaurus rex, Dinosaur STOMP the Triceratops, Dinosaur WHACK the Stegosaurus, Dinosaur WHIZZ the Coelophysis, Dinosaur FLAP the Oviraptor, Dinosaur BOO the Deinonychus and Dinosaur MUNCH the Diplodocus.

This permanent new attraction is perfect for families and little ones of all ages and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Entry to the trail is included in the cost of general admission to our farm park and woodlands. All we ask is that you stay to the path and please don't climb on the dinosaurs.

Manor Farm Park & Woodlands is one of just three farm parks in the UK to be opening this wonderful new trail. Come along and join the fun.

The World of Dinosaur Roar!

The World of Dinosaur Roar! features dinosaurs with personalities bigger than they are. Each book in the series introduces us to a different title character and uses his or her personality to teach children about dinosaurs and to convey a simple moral lesson. The dinosaur characters frequently reappear in other characters’ books in the collection, which together make up The World of Dinosaur Roar!

With wonderful, rhyming text written by series creator, Peter Curtis, and award-winning author, Jeanne Willis and dinosaurs approved by the Department of Earth Sciences at the Natural History Museum in London, each book includes a spread of simple dinosaur facts and a pronunciation guide.

Meet the Dinosaurs

  • Dinosaur Whack the Stegosaurus is the clumsiest dinosaur around. She doesn't mean to cause trouble, but she just can't control her long, spiky tail. 
  • Dinosaur Stomp the Triceratops doesn’t want to play with the other dinosaurs. All he wants is to be left alone, but sometimes even a grumpy Triceratops needs a friend…
  • The quick-moving, quick-thinking Coelophysis, Dinosaur Whizz is the speediest of the dinosaurs. She loves to run and just can't stand still. 
  • Poor Dinosaur Flap the Oviraptor just can't settle down for a nap – she's always worrying about protecting her eggs. 
  • Dinosaur Boo the Deinonychus loves nothing more than playing tricks on the other dinosaurs, but he had better look out as he might just be in for a surprise of his own.
  • Dinosaur Roar the Tyrannosaurus rex is king of the dinosaurs. Strong, brave and heroic, he spends most of his time keeping the other dinosaurs in check!
  • Dinosaur Munch the Diplodocus is always hungry – he wants more and more and more – but will his huge appetite get him into trouble?

  • A booklet with fun activities to complete and a pencil.
  • A sticker sheet for children to put in their booklet each time they find one of the dinosaurs.

  • A Roar mask to help make your day a roaring success!
