Regeneration Initiatives at Manor Farm Park and Woodlands
We are currently running the following regeneration initiatives at Manor Farm.
Climate & Decarbonisation
By Autumn 2025, we’ll complete a car park extension with EV charging points and encourage green mobility through carpooling incentives and partnerships with local transport providers. Our digital-first ticketing and guest communication system reduces paper use and energy loads, supporting our pathway toward Net Zero.
Circular Economy & Sustainable Procurement
Antlers Bistro looks to source ingredients from local suppliers within a 10-mile radius and prioritises low-waste kitchen practices, compostable packaging, and refillable stations. Our recent safety system overhaul is fully digital, eliminating paper trails and enabling efficient resource management. We also partner with regional suppliers who meet responsible sourcing standards.
Biodiversity & Restoration
Throughout 2025-26, we will unveil a new meerkat and tortoise enclosure and boardwalk as part of our larger lake restoration project reclaiming neglected space for native species and educational experiences. We’re actively working with the Environment Agency to maintain flood resilience while enhancing wildlife corridors and pollinator planting.
Place-Based Impact & Community Respect
Our upcoming partnership with the Harley Jae Trust will ensure tailored experiences for families of children with life-limiting conditions. We’re committed to accessible design, local employment, and donations of tickets and resources to schools and charities across the region.
Through our actions, we aim to inspire our visitors, empower our staff and contribute meaningfully to a regenerative future – where tourism heals, connects and uplifts.
