World Snake Day is 16th July this year and we'll be celebrating everything about our snakes and lizards from Monday 15th to Friday 19th July.

Join us in the Animal Chat Room to learn all about snakes and lizards:

Meet a snake or lizard at 11am.
Join in with our craft activity to make a concertina snake at 2pm.
Watch a snake feeding demonstration at 4pm.

A full day of animal activities

Enjoy a full day out, with lots to keep little ones busy:

10.30am to 4pm - Small animal petting.
11am - Meet a snake or lizard.
11am - Chicken feeding.
11am to 12pm - Owl holding (Tues, Wed & Fri - additional £1).
11.30am - Flying demonstration.
12pm - Goat feeding.
12-1pm - Bird handling (Mon & Thur - additional £1).
1pm - Flying demonstration* (weather permitting).
1.15pm to 3pm - Owl holding (Tues, Wed & Fri - additional £1).
1.30pm - Donkey grooming.
2pm - Craft activity: Make a concertina snake.
4pm - Goats’ teatime.
4pm - Snake feeding demonstration.

*In the event of poor weather, an alternative under cover 'meet the birds' opportunity will be offered in our falconry centre, Hawks & Squawks.

Enjoy a day in the countryside

Children can also have fun in our two outdoor playgrounds and enjoy over 25 acres of wide open spaces, safe for little ones to run around and explore.

Why not treat yourself to lunch in either Antlers Bistro or the Laughing Donkey Cafe. Or, if you'd like to bring a picnic, you'll find lots of picnic benches around the farm, as well as by the indoor adventure play area (not in the Cafe though please).

You'll find us in East Leake, which is easily accessible from Nottingham, Leicester and Derby - LE12 6LU.

Adults & Children aged 2-16 years - £12.95 online in advance/£14.95 on the gate.
Carers - £2 online in advance/£3 on the gate.
Under twos - £2 online in advance/£3 on the gate.
Babes in arms - free.

Members:
