Join us on the farm for National Vet Day!

On Friday 26th April 2024, see what it's like to be a junior vet!

The farm park and woodlands will be open from 10am to 5pm. Join us at 11.30am in the falconry centre, Hawks & Squawks, to learn how to use bandages, check an animal's heart rate and breathing, and give medicine.

Kids will also love:

Saying hello to our bigger animals out in the paddocks.
Visiting our tortoises in the Tortoise Room.
Following The World of Dinosaur Roar! Discovery Trail in our woodlands.
Exploring our Indoor Playbarn with adventure play for all ages.
Having fun in our two outdoor playgrounds - The Burrows Play Area and The Fort Adventure Playground.

A full day of animal activities

Enjoy a full day out, with lots to keep little ones busy:

11am to 12pm - Small animal petting.
11am to 12pm - Owl holding (additional £1).
11.30am - Junior vet activities.
1pm - Flying demonstration* (weather permitting).
1.15pm to 3pm - Owl holding (additional £1).
2pm to 3pm - Small animal petting.
3pm - Goats’ teatime.

*In the event of poor weather, an alternative under cover 'meet the birds' opportunity will be offered in our falconry centre, Hawks & Squawks.

Enjoy a day in the countryside

Children can also have fun in our two outdoor playgrounds and enjoy over 25 acres of wide open spaces, safe for little ones to run around and explore.

Why not treat yourself to lunch in either Antlers Bistro or the Laughing Donkey Cafe. Or, if you'd like to bring a picnic, you'll find lots of picnic benches around the farm, as well as by the indoor adventure play area (not in the Cafe though please).

You'll find us in East Leake, which is easily accessible from Nottingham, Leicester and Derby - LE12 6LU.

Adults & Children aged 2-16 years - £12.95 online in advance/£14.95 on the gate.
Carers - £2 online in advance/£3 on the gate.
Under twos - £2 online in advance/£3 on the gate.
Babes in arms - free.
