Thurdsday 23rd May 2024 is National Turtle Day.

We're celebrating by hosting our very own Tortoise Day here on the farm.

Meet our tortoises and learn how to give them a lovely bath! Bath time is 11am, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Say hello to Sheldon the Sulcata Tortoise, along with Erne & Dude the Red Foot Tortoises, plus Uno, Duo, Rafi and Tilly the Hermann's Tortoises.

A full day of animal activities

Enjoy a full day out, with lots to keep little ones busy:

11am - Tortoise bath time.
11am to 12pm - Small animal petting.
12pm to 1pm - Bird handling (additional £1).
1pm - Tortoise bath time.
1pm - Flying demonstration* (weather permitting).
2pm - Tortoise bath time.
2pm to 3pm - Small animal petting.
3pm - Goats’ teatime.
3pm - Tortoise bath time.
4pm - Snake feeding demonstration.

*In the event of poor weather, an alternative under cover 'meet the birds' opportunity will be offered in our falconry centre, Hawks & Squawks.

A day in the countryside

Children can also have fun in our two outdoor playgrounds and enjoy over 25 acres of wide open spaces, safe for little ones to run around and explore.

Why not treat yourself to lunch in either Antlers Bistro or the Laughing Donkey Cafe. Or, if you'd like to bring a picnic, you'll find lots of picnic benches around the farm, as well as by the indoor adventure play area (not in the Cafe though please).

Carers - £2 online in advance/£3 on the gate.
Under twos - £2 online in advance/£3 on the gate.
