Donkey Week

Join us for Donkey Week here on the farm.

From Monday 11th to Friday 15th March 2024 we'll be celebrating everything about our fabulous donkeys!

You'll find us in East Leake, LE12 6LU, on the borders of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. The farm will be open from 10am to 5pm. 

Meet Dougal, Jim and Sadie the Donkeys, along with Holly & Miranda, our Miniature Donkeys, Dixie our Piebald Donkey, Eddie & Popeye our Skewbald Donkeys. 

Learn all about donkeys at 11am, then enjoy our Donkey Derby and grooming activity at 2pm - meet by the Donkey Paddock, opposite the Duck Garden. 

• Listen to our 'Learn about Donkeys' talk. 
• Watch the Donkey Derby, with a rosette for the winner!
• Try grooming one of our donkeys. 
• Enjoy animal petting. 
• Watch a flying display (weather permitting). 
• Hold an owl (additional £1). 
• Visit our smaller animals in the Animal Chat Room. 
• Say hello to our bigger animals out in the paddocks. 
• See our tortoises in the Tortoise Room. 
• Follow The World of Dinosaur Roar! Discovery Trail in our woodlands. 
• Explore our Indoor Playbarn with adventure play for all ages. 
• Have fun in our outdoor playground.
