School & Pre-school trips

Suitable for up to approximately 120 children

Trips for pre-schools and primary schools usually run from 10am to 2.30pm and can be tailor-made every time. We work closely with teachers and group leaders to ensure we understand what they want their pupils to experience and, where possible, try to link in with which curriculum topics are being taught in school at the time. Teachers and group leaders who wish to do a site visit prior to their arrival are very welcome to book an appointment to be shown around the park for planning and risk assessment, free of charge.

On the day of your visit, your time at Manor Farm Park & Woodlands can be either self-led or guided by one of our farm leaders. In the morning, one of our team will meet you from the coach car park and escort everyone to a private room which is yours for the day. After a short briefing session, the children are grouped into teams of 20-30 people and belongings can be left behind safely. The day is broken up into four fun activities of around 40 minutes each and content can be themed around relevant school topics such as animal classification and animal habitats. For lunch you can either return to your private room or take a picnic to the woodlands or grassed areas. At the end of the day, you’ll be escorted safely back to the coach and each child receives ticket for a free return visit.
