Terms And Conditions For Animal Experiences
Each person joining an Animal Experience must also have a valid general admission ticket (or annual membership) for the farm park and woodlands in addition to their Animal Experience booking.
All Animal Experiences must be booked online in advance. Online bookings close 24 hours before the start of each experience.
Cancellations, refunds and exchanges
Once purchased, tickets can be neither refunded nor exchanged. In the event that an Animal Experience is cancelled by Manor Farm Park & Woodlands, a refund or a new date will be offered.
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ to visit the farm park and woodlands. There is no age restriction to take part in our Small Animal Experience. Our Large Animal Experience is suitable for children aged four and above. Children of all ages are invited to join our Alpaca Walking Experience, but only those aged 12 and above are able to lead an alpaca on a walk around the farm. For safety, adults leading an alpaca must be able to do so with both hands free and therefore cannot be also pushing a pushchair or pushing a wheelchair.
Manor Farm Park & Woodlands is open from 10am to 5pm daily. Please ensure you arrive for your experience 15 minutes before the experience is schedule to begin. Unfortunately if you arrive late for your experience, you will not be able to take part and no refund will be given.
Our Small Animal Experience and Alpaca Walking Experience are for private groups of up to five people. Our Large Animal Experiences are for private groups of up to four people.
Suitable and appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and experience must be worn. Please wear trainers, shoes or boots. Unfortunately anyone wearing open-toed sandals, sliders or flip flops will not be able to join the Alpaca Walking Experience or the Large Animal Experiences. On warm days, we recommend sun cream and sun hats and on wet days we recommend waterproof clothing and wellies. Please note, we cannot be held responsible for damage to clothing.
Hand washing and toilet facilities
Hand washing, hand sanitiser and toilet facilities are available at the main entrance and around the farm. When accompanying children, please ensure thorough hand washing takes place after handling animals.
We are unable to hold bags or belongings for visitors. We ask visitors to leave bags and belongings they do not wish to carry around the farm park woodlands at home or stored out of sight in their car.
There will be the opportunity to take photographs during each of our Animal Experiences. We would love you to share your own photos on social media and are always grateful when you tag us in and leave a review. Photographs may be taken by us and, with your permission, will be used for advertising and social media purposes. Please let us know by email prior to your experience if you do not wish your photo to be taken or to be used in our future advertising or social media - [email protected]
Gift vouchers for Animal Experiences will be valid for twelve months from purchase date.
Risk assessments are prepared by our management team for all activities on the farm park and woodlands and are available on request.
If you are pregnant, please wash your hands carefully and avoid touching any newborn animals or animals which have recently given birth. For more information, please visit the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/toxoplasmosis/
All activities are undertaken at your own risk. If we feel, for any reason, that there is a risk to your safety, we reserve the right to refuse participation in our animal experiences and no refunds will be given.
