Spoil your Mum.  Bring her to Manor Farm for a cream tea.  Make her a gift she’ll treasure forever.

A free tea or coffee for Mums plus a scone with jam and cream.  Join our family craft activity and make a Mother’s Day gift.

Animals on parade in their Easter bonnets; Easter Egg hunt; Easter craft activities.

Football fun for Fathers - come & beat the goalie!  Plus a free tea/coffee and a cookie for Dads.

Minibeast Hunt

In celebration of National Insect Week, join us in the woods and meadows to discover the variety of minibeasts to be found on the Farm.
Help is on hand to show you how to use simple equipment to track down and identify the beasties that are essential to life on Earth.

For all ages - just turn up and join in.

3-day Forest School

Help to build a tree platform, learn how to use a bowsaw and whittling knife, cook lunch on the campfire...  Lead by qualified Forest School staff.

Full Holiday Club care available 7.30am-6.00pm if required.

Willow Weaving Course

Come and be creative…  A hands-on workshop for anyone who wants to learn about working with willow.  Full instructions and materials are provided.  Take home what you make.  Willow material will be on sale for your own projects.

For those wishing to linger after the course a guided Farm Walk is included in the price.

Ways with Wool – felt-making for beginners

This indoor workshop will demonstrate techniques for making soft felt pictures, wall hangings and jewellery.  Participants can make items to their own design working with fleece from Manor Farm’s Jacobs sheep in both natural and dyed colours.

Bring an old towel and a plastic bag.  The towel will only get wet and the plastic bag is used in part of the process and can be used to carry your creations home.  Everything else is provided.

Outdoor Adventures

A practical and fun day in a great outdoor environment
The day build confidence, examines safety issue and provides a wealth of ideas.  Participants will return to their settings in a position to enrich outdoor expereinces for children in ther care.

Taking Storytelling into Outdoor Spaces

A dynamic and interactive workshop that provides participants with skills    and confidence to create and improvise stories for and with children to  develop their awareness and understanding of the natural world.

This course is popular with education practitioners, librarians, playworkers, parents and carers.

Making Music Fun Outdoors

 

An interactive, outdoor workshop to present ideas and inspiration for participants to engage with children in music and movement activities. The content will focus on the natural world as a springboard to promote spontaneous music making in outdoor spaces.

An invaluable course for Early Year’s Practitioners, FS and KS1 Teachers, Childminders, Play Workers, After School Club Workers.
